Within Laing O’Rourke all of our systems are very well structured and easy to navigate. Through this course and navigating our system I have learnt a lot which I have been able to put into practice in my day job, which has opened a lot of doors for me already.
I have just applied to transfer internally within Laing O’Rourke to work internationally which was made possible through this course.
I have the last 7 hours scheduled in to complete my final assessment for later in the month but It might roll into July, work load depending.
Thank you for all your help and comments along the way, it’s been a real pleasure doing this course.
Kind Regards

Well, it looks like the diploma has got me a promotion, and all the documentation I put together on the last project is going to be used as the company standard. The subtle approach seems to have worked.
I was curious to know how I would go about getting international recognition, any thoughts?
Best regards

P&H MinePro Australasia Pty Ltd is a subsidiary of the Joy Global Industries business, specialising in the global supply of mining equipment and support services to the mining sector, including electric mining shovels, blast hole drills, conveyor and crushing equipment, truck trays, wheel loaders and low-boy haulage trailers. The P&H MinePro global business employs approximately 2600 people across 30 sites, with approximately 450 team members being within the Australasian region.
Given the local manufacturing requirements within our Western Australia facility across shovel structures, trailers and conveyor equipment, we utilised QTC Consulting to undertake Project Management training with some of the key team members within our manufacturing team to assist in developing their project management skills. Keith engaged with our team over a month undertaking Certificate IV training and also re-visited to undertake a MS Project software training course for a broader group.
Keith is certainly detailed and has an in depth knowledge of the processes involved to be able to maximise project management opportunities within a business and operating structure. Keith tailored the program to assist the team in taking into account real life business examples which assisted in developing the teams understanding. We would consider QTC for future training opportunities within the business.

Hi Keith,
I have been searching for some cleaver words to compliment your delivery of the Project Management course but often you can say more with less, the fact is this I have thoroughly enjoyed the process and your style of educating and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your organisation in the future.
Thank you!

Hi Keith
I'm still in Canberra and spent yesterday in Sydney.
I believe I am over here due to the knowledge I gained from Cert IV which is positive. What started with implementing quality check sheets for our office in Perth has now turned into implementing, monitoring and performing quality checks on newly commissioned buses in Canberra as well compiling other documentation for a very large project in Sydney. It's extremely beneficial that I could transfer what I learnt in the classroom and implemented similar systems into a real world environment.
Cheers,
- Michael Burn
Project Officer, Downer EDI Engineering
Thank you for helping me achieve the Cert IV Keith, it was the sole reason I was able to break into the industry.
Kind Regards,

It was a pleasure to attend and I have learned a lot more than I expected about the 'proper' theory of project management and the organisation I am involved with as well. I posted the signed assessment forms to you today as well so hopefully by express post they will arrive by Friday.
Once again, many thanks for your assistance and sharing your knowledge and experience. I will recommend your course to others without any hesitation. Cheers.
Kind Regards,

The Diploma of Project Management course has opened my eyes to many areas I was not aware off or lacked skills in. As a resource I will be referring to the information I have discovered often.
I have all ready started to use these new tools in my Job and I am surprised how well they are being accepted especially be senior management. This course has improved my confidence in what I do and especially in personnel management and client relationship. I believe it also has improved their confidence in what I do.
Thank you for this course and I would be interested if there are any supporting or follow on courses.

SVT Engineering Consultants specialises in resolving acoustic, vibration and corrosion issues that affect the safety, reliability and integrity of process plant and rotating equipment. We engage with our clients through design support, asset support, and troubleshooting services, all of which rely on strong project management to efficiently deliver the services.
Having experienced significant growth in our business, Keith has been providing project management training. This training has been directed beyond project management staff to help all of our staff understand the role they play in supporting our project management processes and to help them understand the benefits to them from good project management.
The training has been very well received with staff expressing a much greater appreciation of the big picture as well as coming away from the courses armed with some valuable tools and techniques.
We have also worked with Keith in developing a model to better illustrate and communicate SVT’s project management methodology and we look forward to continuing to work with Keith to improve our methods and skills.

Marine and Civil is a rapidly expanding organisation specialising in the delivery of Marine and related infrastructure. The recent Project Management workshop undertaken by Keith gave the participants (consisting of our Project Management, Engineering and Supervisory staff) an opportunity to review our current project delivery methods in addition to some new ideas outlined in the workshop manual.
Of particular importance to us was the way Keith was able to structure the workshop to suit the particular requirements of our company. By spending time learning the project delivery systems and processes we employ at Marine and Civil, Keith gained a detailed understanding of the key focus points to be addressed and suggested areas where improvements could be made both before and during the workshop sessions.
We look forward to continuing our involvement with Keith and QTC Consulting.
